Lady Gaga in campaign for M.A.C

Såhär skrev Kate Sharpland på webbsidan telegraph om Lady Gagas campaign för M.A.C cosmetic, då de lenserar ett läppstift tillsammans i förmån för AIDS:

A new short film, directed by Ruth Hogben, premiered yesterday on Vivaglam.com to unveil The Masterpiece, a spectacular dress that Gaga's creative director and Mugler designer, Nicola Formichetti, designed for Gaga as part of the Viva Glam social awareness campaign founded by makeup company M.A.C to raise awareness of HIV/AIDS and support people affected by the disease globally.

In two years, M.A.C has raised $55 million for the M.A.C AIDS fund. In February this year Lady Gaga, spokeswoman for Viva Glam, upped the bar to aim to raise $250 million by July 2012 when the XIX International AIDS conference is held. And since then M.A.C have raised $224 million, with Gaga urging her little monsters to help raise the extra $26 million to reach the target by going out and buying a lipstick for their girlfriend, boyfriend, mother or sister.

Hogben's film is the apex of Gaga's time as the Viva Glam spokeswoman, and a truly collaborative project, as Gaga and Nicola also asked fans to send them self portraits, then incorporated these into the design of The Masterpiece, the dress that is revealed in the film.

M.A.C have also released a behind-the-scenes film of Gaga and Formichetti talking about creating the dres and how she steals make-up ideas from her experimental fans:

Lady Gaga är ett levande konstverk. Fascination!
